My 18-month son loves peek-a-boo books, and I loved the idea of incorporating that with learning about Jesus. However, EVERY page in this book is virtually THE SAME. Even when you lift the flaps, the picture underneath is almost the same as the one above it. ("Where are Jesus' feet? There they are!" And the only difference is now if you look closely you can see his feet.) There is no change in background or pose or anything. My son (who LOVES books) loses interest after a few pages. There are much better peek-a-boo books out there.Product details

My kids own kids loved Peek-a-boo Jesus. As a Catholic school resource teacher, I now I bring it into the classroom with me when I visit in the younger grades. This book makes for a wonderful discussion on the love of God and how He wants us to always be searching for (and finding) him in all we do.

Peek a boo Jesus explores Jesus' love for children in simple terms so that even the youngest babies can enjoy the "reading" experience as they sit on a parent's or grandparent's lap. Adorable book, precious illustrations, and the greatest message in the world. A must for your baby and a perfect gift for little ones!
I bought this book while anticipating becoming a grandmother. I love to read and hoped to pass that love on to my grandkids. Peek-A-Boo Jesus is a sweet book that my 21-month old granddaughter loves. We read it together, and each time she asks, "Again?" Occasionally she "reads" the book to me, and it's just precious. The message is spot on even if you can't see him, Jesus is with you. I love that she enjoys the flip flaps and interacts with that Biblical truth in a way that is age appropriate. The illustrations are darling. This book is the perfect addition to any nursery or grandmother's bookshelf.
This made my day, I was talking to my granddaughter, Fiona, she's 2 1/2 years old, about why she kept waking up last night, rare for her. She said several times, "I had to." I probed deeper, she said she had a dream. Now, I don't even know if two year olds know what a dream is, she couldn't tell me what it was about. But I asked her if she dreamed about Jesus. Her eyes lit up and she said, "Yes!" I asked her, "What did He say to you?" She answered so sweetly. She nodded her head down a bit and smiled and said, "I love you." Of course, my delight was genuine and chimed in, "He said He loves you?!" She nodded her head and her eyes got all shiney. I loved it! When her mom got back, I told her about our exchange. She said, "You know where she got that? From her Peek-A-Boo Jesus book. In the story He tells her 'I love you.' When it's time to read a book she says, "Read Peek-A-Boo Jesus, its my favorite!" Yes, that melted my heart. She also wants both books for her younger daughter (8 mos old), so she can have her own copies. Such a simple book - but the words go straight to her heart. Fiona knows Jesus loves her! I was 24 years old before I believed that!
Such a sweet book! My 1 year old niece loves peek-a-boo books and this one is great. Holds her attention well. The flaps are a little hard to find until you've read it a few times. Would buy again.
I purchsed this book as a gift for a new baby. The author is actually a friend of my Cousins'. She is an Amazing Author & Illustrator! If u are starting to introduce Christianity & Jesus into a childs life, this is a perfect start.
