Ciera will do anything for a good time and luck is something rarely in her side. One night she finds herself being robbed in the parking lot of a bar. Unfortunately for her thought never kicks in till she is 10 sheets to the wind. She also finds herself one hangover away from being fired. In the process of being robbed a dog comes out on nowhere and saves her. At some point she wonders if what she is seeing is real and if she should stop and help the jerk who tried to rob her. From the rear view mirror she believes the dog is trying to kill the guy. Unbeknownst to her it's her mate and what he did to save her will come at a cost. I received a copy of this book and voluntarily left a review.

A very sexy and hot short story. Johnathan and Ciera Ciera was a cashier at a restaurant and worked with Johnathan and Aaron. One night after having a good time at a bar going to her car, Ciera was approached by a mugger with a knife. She was rescued by a very large dog. She called in sick the next day because of her hangover. Johnathan came by to see if she was okay. A few days later she caught Aaron checking her out and he finally invited her over to his apartment. She went and she thought she wanted to have sex with him but he turned her off and she refused his advances. Aaron was a little perturbed by her and offered to walk her home. They had to go through a wooded area before getting to Ciera's apartment building. During the walk Aaron tried to assault her and a very large dog came to her rescue. She fled to her apartment. Moments later someone knocked at her door and she thought it would be Aaron but it was Johnathan. Johnathan kept Ciera from calling 911 to report the animal attack. Johnathan finally told her she what he was and that she was his mate. The rest of the story goes on to describe the intimate details of their mating/coupling. A HEA
A nice little short story with a HEA. I was not crazy about the leading lady's though.
A human girl has a hot male friend at work. He's always nice to her but nothing else happens. She thinks he's gay because he doesn't pursue her. She has a couple close calls where a ?dog? rescues her. What's up with that? Read and find out. I voluntarily read an ARC of this book and am giving an honest review.
This werewolf story I really liked. Ciera keeps needing to be rescued, and this "big dog" keeps saving her. Then there is Jonathan, a guy that works with her, that is never attracted to anyone, male or female. Well, soon there are some big surprises that Ciera learns about Jonathan. This one definitely earned a 5 from me.
An unlucky yet sweet female lead, an adoring alpha determined to keep her safe and a sweet but sexy final scene, what more can you ask fore.

If you like short paranormal romance's then I am sure you will enjoy this

What a classic romance, with a fantasy twist! A "not skinny" woman faced with men who want to dominate and use her, she discovers the magic secret of a gentlemanly "friend" and is rescued by a relationship built on trust and respect - with sexual attraction rejecting the shallow, traditional preference for bony chicks.

So romantic. So titillating. Such a twist on such an old-school story. Very enjoyable.
